How to Repurpose One Blog into a Series of Social Posts

You’ve spent time writing a blog — so don’t just hit publish and move on. That single piece of content can fuel your social media for an entire week (and sometimes longer).
Repurposing isn’t about cutting corners; it’s about making your hard work go further and reaching your audience in different ways.
Here’s how you can turn one blog into a week’s worth of posts:
1. Pull out a key quote or statistic
Turn the most powerful line in your blog into a static image post. Quotes catch attention fast and are easy for your audience to share
2. Summarise the main points in a carousel
Break your blog down into 3–5 digestible slides. Each slide highlights one key takeaway — perfect for teaching while encouraging people to swipe through
3. Record a short video or reel
Camera-shy? No problem. You can either film yourself sharing the key insight from your blog or use stock clips with text overlays. Video helps reach the people who prefer watching over reading
4. Create a story with behind-the-scenes
Show yourself writing, editing, or brainstorming for the blog, then link to it in your story. Stories are informal and make your business feel more human
5. Share a poll or question
Ask your audience their opinion on one of the blog’s key points. Not only does this boost engagement, but it also gives you feedback to feed into future content
6. Post the blog link itself
Don’t forget the original! Share it with a strong call to action to drive people back to your website
With this approach, one blog isn’t just “one piece of content.” It’s a series of posts across different formats that reach people who like to read, watch, engage, or click through.
